Part-time Baker

Sway is seeking a Baker to join our kitchen team in Baileys Harbor. As Baker, you’ll be working directly with our Owner and Head Chef to develop, prepare, and bake a variety of morning pastries for our morning service, dessert pastries for our afternoon service, and other breads/doughs for afternoon kitchen menu.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): (1) Preparing and baking recipes, (2) Keeping inventory for baking related ingredients and supplies and ordering as needed, (3) Managing quantities to be baked, ensuring we have stock but also keeping waste to a minimum, (4) Costing out offerings with our Owner to ensure margins are correct, (5) Creating standardization and consistency within baking processes for each recipe.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in learning, genuinely loves baking/cooking, is able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, follows instructions, maintains keen attention to detail, and can contribute to our upbeat and convivial work culture without egoism.

We are currently considering part-time candidates for year-round work (seasonal candidates will also be considered). Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.

Dishwasher

We are seeking Dishwashers for both our morning bakery service (7:30am-12pm) and afternoon food service (12-7pm). Our Dishwashers are responsible for washing dishes for both front-of-house and kitchen, maintaining a clean/organized dish area, helping bus and clean tables and bus bins, and helping out in various other areas when needed. Dishwashers must have a keen attention to detail, be able to follow direction, and be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently hiring part-time positions for year-round work. Competitive hourly pay.

Taproom Front-of-House

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Front-of-House team in the taproom. Our Taproom Front-of-House Staff are responsible for creating a welcoming, fun environment, helping educate customers on our beers and food, pouring our small-batch beers, running food orders from the kitchen, bussing tables, and washing dishes. If you are passionate about craft beer and local food and have a keen attention to detail, we want to hear from you.
